This is the motel that made me want to do this project. Which is funny, because these are not the best photos. These were taken in April 2008, before I decided to invest in a DSLR camera, and they don't quite do the place justice. Not that it's so amazing, visually - the charm, here, is much more with Jack Patel himself and his aspirations, made so vivid by his well-maintained and enthusiastically updated sign.
